Brent’s Black History month
Brent Black History Month (BHM) is a fun, friendly, family festival that will celebrate black history and culture in a range of Brent’s libraries from 1 to 31 October 2010.
The festival is a vibrant and hugely popular month of events and an integral part of Brent’s festival programme.
How to get involved
We would like to hear from you if you can:
- run innovative learning and craft workshops
- deliver author talks
- facilitate cultural and historical discussions
- sing
- play an instrument
- dance, or
- facilitate, entertain and make people laugh.
To get involved, please complete an expression of interest form (.doc, 71Kb) and return it to Sarah Smith, Libraries Development Manager, Libraries, Arts and Heritage, Brent House, 349 – 357 High Road, Wembley HA9 6BZ or email it to libraries@brent.gov.uk.
All applications must be received by Monday 14 June 2010.
