Why is it called the Bakerloo line?

I overheard two children in conversation with their mother this morning on the way in to work and it was so adorable.

“Mummy.. why is it called the Bakerloo line? It must be because the Baker comes from Baker Street and the Loo from Waterloo.”

Well, that kid must be a genius. I was intrigued and naturally looked it up on the reliable Wikipedia, and yes… that is exactly the case. Originally, it was called the Baker Street and Waterloo railway in March 1906. The phrase ‘Bakerloo’ quickly caught on and in July of the same year, the name was officially changed.
